Hi All

Sorry this is a bit late this week but I have just returned from our Staff outing to the Towcester Rugby Club Beer Festival!!!  Oh yes, I was duty driver so I had the fun of watching everyone ‘enjoying’ the many beers on offer knowing just how ‘wonderful’ they will feel tomorrow! I, on the other hand, had a lovely time sampling the joys of the tug of war championship between neighbouring rugby teams and the delights of the hog roast tent!  It’s a hard life but someone has to do it!

The week has been completely mad so we all deserved a little R&R.  The team has worked tirelessly to ensure that all our clients’ worm counts were done on time, sometimes visiting five yards in one day.  I have been starting work at 6.30 most mornings, finishing sending out results at around 9.30 at night.  This is a very busy time for us but we are totally loving it all.  We love visiting old friends, some for the fourth or fifth time since this time last year, and we also love making new friends, which we seem to be doing each week.  A huge thank you to all our wonderful, loyal clients for your support and for the endless cups of tea which keep Abacus Equine Labs on the road!

Sadly we have seen some really high counts this Spring, due in no small part to the really odd climate changes we have had.  Please, Guys, keep up with the poo picking.  I know the fields are wet but you just have try to keep on top of it as the warm, wet weather conditions are a holiday camp to our wormy friends.

Well, I am off to put my feet up before starting on the worm counts again tomorrow – at least my head will be clear!

Bye for now

The Ab-Lab Team
